    A first sync pulls usage, resource metadata and billing. Rules and models compare what you run against what you pay for, across every connected provider.

Security & data handling

Built to read your bill, not touch your infrastructure.

OptiStack is designed so the worst case is a report you disagree with — never a change you did not make. Here is exactly what that means.

Read-only, least privilege

Service accounts use read-only permissions. OptiStack cannot modify warehouses, resize or terminate instances, or change any configuration in your environment.

Metadata and cost only

We read resource metadata and billing to find waste. We do not read the contents of your tables, files or data.

AES-256-GCM at rest

Connection credentials are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM. All traffic is protected in transit over TLS.

Keys in Azure Key Vault

Encryption keys are managed in Azure Key Vault, hosted in the EU (West Europe), with per-tenant isolation between workspaces.

EU data residency, GDPR-aligned

Data is primarily processed in the EEA (Azure West Europe) and the platform is built to align with EU data protection principles.

SOC 2 Type II — in progress

A SOC 2 Type II audit is on our roadmap. Today our controls include read-only access, encryption at rest, and per-tenant isolation.
